The first website that we would like to point you towards in creating small business loans online can be found at: http://www.businessfinance.com/small-business-loan-online.htm. This website is very good because it can help you decide what particular source of financing that you need, depending on where your business is at financially and growth-wise. This website does give different descriptions on the different types of financing available for small businesses so that you can better characterize what type of small business loan you should apply for. This website serves as an intermediary for roughly 400 lenders and the website also has a tool which can help you determine how much money you might need to borrow. Each lender will be different as far as its requirements but this website does seem to keep in mind what each lender requires. This is going to be your best source of information as far as any websites that this author has seen for websites dedicated to creating small business loans online. It is hard to compare this website with the second website that is listed here because the second website is a direct lender whereas this website is an intermediary between you and the actual lenders.

The second site that also has great deal of information when helping you in creating small-business loans online is http://www.americaoneunsecured.com/loans/FastLoan.aspx. This website does offer you a very fast turnaround time in regards to approval or denial so that you know if you need immediate financing, this may be the company that you want to turn towards. Their turnaround time as listed on the website as one to three days. This small business loan can be in the form of unsecured debt so you do not necessarily need to use the equity in your house or anything else that you own as collateral for this.

Remember that as you're looking around when creating small-business loans online, take your time to make sure that this small business loan fits what your business needs. Many people look for business financing but may not necessarily need the funds. You want to take a close look at your business plan and if you have any doubts, call your local banker and ask him or her if they can take a look at what you're doing and if this makes sense. There's no need for you to rush into any sort of loan that does not make sense for your business in the long run. Growing a small business is very difficult as proven by the fact that most small businesses fail within the first five years so if you are succeeding in growing, make sure that you continue this trend by not over-leveraging yourself in this can include financing. 10 Ways Of Automating Your Business

An Internet business is the ultimate way to put your business on autopilot and not only make money but also have the freedom to enjoy your business. It is critical for the prosperity of your business and your sanity to automate your enterprise as much as possible.

Your computer is your greatest business partner but have you ever thought about how many ways you can use it to automate your business? In business time is money and the less time you have to spend battling with everyday tasks the smoother your enterprise will run. Your computer can help you in more ways than you may have thought of. Here are some things that it can help you with to make your business run more smoothly and efficiently.

1. Tracking your customer database, this can all be done with your computer. You can do this with office software like Microsoft word and keep all information on an excel sheet. In this way you will be able to see at a glance customer sales and conversions, who bought from you and when.

2. Speed and convenience: An important part of this computerized database is of course the convenience:

* Not having to keep files full of paper work
* Being able to look up anyone in your database quickly, either on your excel sheets or on your autoresponder. This will save your valuable time
* Making flow charts based on your database records. This will alert you to trends and help you track your promotions and business progress

3. Mailers: You can then load your entire list to your autoresponder from your database and use it for automated follow-ups and mailers. These are powerful marketing tools that can be set to go out automatically and will close many backend sales for you.

4. Accounting: One of the biggest headaches in business is managing your business budget. With software like Quicken this is easy to do. Again automating this will be a big time saver and will enable you to save money by keeping abreast of your company finances.

5. Desktop publishing software will save you 1000s on marketing design. Logos, brochures, leaflets, flyers and even your own newsletter template can be done quickly and well with this software.

6. Information please: Of course do not forget to harness the Internet with your computer. There is a wealth of information about your industry and more. Keep up with trends and hot news about your industry with free to join business forums articles and websites, Google News etc. You will save tons of money and time when you build your own library of knowledge like this.

7. Set up your payment system: This will handle offline and online orders automatically. There are several systems you can use but always have 2 to avoid any breakdown in your system.

8. Affiliates: If you have your own product set up your own affiliate program to automate your sales.

9. Joint Ventures: Do some long term Joint Ventures to complete your automated sales system.

10. Affiliate programs: Affiliate for some related programs and take advantage of a true automated income.

As you can see from these simple points it is easy to automate your business. When you do this you will have more time to develop ideas to market and build your enterprise without having to be continually stuck on time-consuming tasks.

The Four Obstacles To Success Of Your Online Business

The Four Obstacles To Success Of Your Online Business
Copyright © 2007 Casey Moher

It's vital that you surmount a series of resistance points on your way to establishing a customer.

The four primary obstacles facing you are: NO TRUST - NO NEED - NO HELP - and NO HURRY

You'll want to handle each one in a specific order.

Nobody has any idea of who you are in the internet environment. It can be an uphill battle to motivate potential buyers to do business with you (a stranger) and risk losing in some regard.

A smooth and rapid technique for establishing trust is for you to provide something of real value to your website visitor at no cost to them. Your reader's mind is filled with questions and unkowns when they first come across your website.

Giving before you try to take (sell) something is a great resistance-buster. An example of a very valuable free gift you could offer is to produce a review of a popular and good-selling internet-based business plan.

A popular product that you would enjoy owning and using yourself is a great one upon which to base your report. No trust quickly loses its power when you provide this kind of free information. You are now ready for obstacle number two which is NO NEED.

The most straight-forward method of dealing with this no-need obstacle is to choose a product or service that has some great testimonials.

Once you begin to elaborate on the virtues of your product, your site visitor starts thinking about the issue of (NO HELP) which is actually obstacle number three.

At this point, your reader trusts you and is in more of a buying mode. However, some doubt remains as to whether what you have will really help them improve their life in some way.

This is the NO HELP obstacle trying hard to maintain its hold on your reader's mind. You will achieve great strides with this obstacle when you can point to the words of other people.

Now is the time to let your reader learn about the experience of others who found out for themselves how well the product worked for them and how it improved something in their lives.

The ease, wisdom and strength of your becoming an affiliate marketer begin to present themselves at this time.

When you begin your business as an affiliate, a huge number of hassles, worries and concerns are taken off your shoulders. Also, powerful obstacle-busters in the form of testimonials from happy customers are yours to use.

And a fast start with easier mastery of the hurdles can be yours when you begin your business as an affiliate for a proven product. Credibility and simplicity are there for you and many times you can get a 50% to 75% share of the selling price!

You are now in the position of three hurdles down and one to go. So you're now faced with obstacle number four, which is overcoming the natural human tendency to resist buying through the rationale of NO HURRY!

The best tools I've found to overcome NO HURRY are to instill a fear of loss that could be suffered if they don't act now. Develop the idea of limited time availability for your product as one way to combat this problem.

Even if the product has every appearance of being available for quite some time, the price could likely escalate. This is particularly true if you have selected a popular product to promote as an affiliate.

Two motivators that will work in your favor nearly all the time when well-used are price climbs and shortage of a popular product.

Your long-range focus should be one of building a sizeable list of loyal subscribers that can be a continual source of cash-flow for you. It's fun and financially rewarding (although challenging at first) to build an expanding list of responsive subscribers.

When you do, they will be your asset for years and years. You will get better and better all the time at overcoming the four obstacles. As you do, your responsive subscriber list as well as your business and income will grow.

Increasing Your Targeted Traffic

Increasing Your Targeted Traffic
Copyright © 2007 Casey Moher

There are dozens of good ways to send people to your website. These methods come with a wide variety of results and difficulty. Attempting various methods and studying the results has been a focus of mine. I'll review one of my favorites for you.

Offer something FREE to your visitors.

There is a high perceived value on the part of your visitor if you can provide them with useful information. By capturing and sharing this free information, you can make somebody's life better and easier in many regards.

It's simply human-nature that you must constantly work to over-come a basic mis-trust on the part of your visitor. This level of mis-trust MUST be overcome before you can succeed in your efforts.

Your focus should be to find and share valuable information. Finding (and sharing) information on-line is the quickest and most effective. It doesn't take much search time before you will be discovering subjects and information that folks want to know. This shows you the topics that are being inquired upon and which you will want to include in the information you give away.

One strategy you can employ is to share the information in the form of a multi-day mini-course that people can receive from you. Make the information package you send be of top-quality for maximum results. A little more time and attention at this point will have tremendous benefit in the value of your subscriber list. It costs much less than you might think to do this.

You will be offering to share this information in exchange for your visitor's name and e-mail address. A 'squeeze page' is the best tool to use for capturing this information. A squeeze-page is simply a basic website that presents your message offering the information.

Some very professional design work is available at affordable prices these days. Your own squeeze page can be up and capturing names for you in a very quick time.

If you would like to have your own squeeze page up and running, let me know. This is a great starting point in establishing your own highly-profitable list.

With care, your subscriber list can be cultivated and a long-term relationship built with the members. You can build a very rewarding and long-lasting enterprise by steadily and thoughtfully putting these concepts to work.

Like any offline business, you are providing genuine value to your customers who have grown to trust your motives and your interest in helping them. You can be paid very well in the process.

The best strategy in any relationship-selling environment is one where you give before ever trying to take. As with other strategies, here, again you are providing something of value free to the reader. This time it is in a different format and is made available to the reader using different tools and strategies. Quality in what you provide and how you provide it is essential, easy and inexpensive.

A focus on providing information to the people you wish to reach should be foremost in your mind. They will be willing to buy something from you (now or in the future) only if they first perceive that you have something they need or want. The biggest obstacle you will always face with new readers is one of NO TRUST! Providing something free is a great way to start building it. Valuable information can be found readily on the internet. You also likely have more information and knowledge of your own than you realize. There are many sources of information where you can find topics of interest to huge numbers of people.

The article should inform, educate and even enthuse the reader, but should NOT sell something. Your articles are not the place to sell some product or service. It is their job to inform and establish your credibility and TRUST! Your key marketing tool with the article publishing strategy is found in using a resource box. This is simply an area at the end describing who you are and giving your website address where they can visit and benefit by what you offer there.

I've seen a tremendous piece of software in action that automates the process of article-writing. This tool merges blocks of words, uses a 30,000 word thesaurus and manges data bases, as well. There is some new software out there (along with people-run businesses) that helps with article production as well as distribution.

Article writing and publishing should be part of an on-going strategy. Computers and professional service companies make this vital function much easier. If you want more information on these useful tools (or anything else in this article), just contact me.

Home Biz How-To: Marketing Yourself Online

Marketing Yourself Online

Are you marketing yourself online? You may be marketing your business online but it is also important to market yourself, as people typically buy from people they like and trust. Of course when they are at their computer surfing the internet they cannot see you or talk to you in person. They must rely on the information that you give about yourself at your website. This means that it is important to build a reputation for integrity when doing business online. In a way marketing online is all about building your reputation as an expert in your field. This type of credibility can be built by posting valuable information on forums, in articles, and on your website.

Personal Website - A well designed personal web site is very important and is designed to sell you first and your service, product, or company second. The site will tell your story and convey your personality to visitors via a biography page (see my site www.scentedcandleclub.com/bio.html). The whole site should convey your values, integrity, and commitment to the reader. It is also a good idea to include a picture, video or audio as this lends credibility and shows them you are a real person. To capture information from your site visitors consider having a opt-in form where the visitor can fill out their contact information to get a free report or sign up for a newsletter. This then allows you to follow up with visitors via an Auto-responder such as www.Aweber.com.

Email Signature - Have you noticed those lines below the senders name at the end of an email? Many business emails will give the senders title, company name, and contact numbers. This is called an auto-signature and can be set up easily in most email programs to automatically place this text at the bottom of the email. To promote your website via email use an Auto-signature with a catchy business tag line and website link. Avoid any hype about your product or service in your signature as this won't attract readers to click! Instead use a simple tag line that creates interest and highlights one of the benefits of visiting your site.

Publishing Articles - Many publishers of online and offline newsletters are looking for quality articles about topics that will appeal to and be of value to their readers. The most common places for publishers to find free articles are online article directories and these sites are springing up all over the internet! (find them in the search engines using keywords "article directory"). By writing some information packed articles that relate to your business and posting in these directories your articles will be run in other e-zines or placed on other websites. When you post an article in a directory it is very important that you also place a resource box at the end of the article that tells readers about you and your business and has a link back to your website (take a look at mine at end of this article). Having these links back to your website will aid you in getting your site better search engine rankings and allow readers who enjoy your article to seek out more information that you have written.

Posting in Newsgroups and Forums - There are many online groups where people come to discuss their hobbies, business, health, and pets with other like minded individuals. Find a group that relates to your business where they let you place a signature and link to your website at the end of your posts (same as you would at the end of an email). Sit back and observe the group dynamic and then begin to post valuable replies to questions, articles, or questions that add to the discussion. Over time people in the group will begin to notice your contribution and will be interested enough in your that they will click on your signature link and visit your site!

Is Your Business 'Out Of Site'? Employ The Ultimate Marketing Tool

Is Your Business 'Out Of Site'? Employ The Ultimate Marketing Tool
Copyright © 2007 Rick Sloboda

With the rapid expansion of the digital economy, the web site is conceivably the most powerful marketing and sales tool you can employ.

Yet, despite the highly competitive, global business climate, many businesses have yet to take advantage of this popular technology.

Consider these facts:

  • There are more than 1,022,800,000 Internet users worldwide. The U.S. has the highest number of Internet users in the world with 205,300,000-plus 'surfers', equating to 68.6 per cent of the country's population. (Source: www.internetworldstats.com)

  • By 2010, e-commerce in the U.S. is expected to account for $316 billion (U.S.) in sales, or 13 per cent of overall retail sales. (Source: www.forrester.com)

  • Canada-based online sales exceeded $39.2 (CDN) million in 2005, and that number is expecting to grow. (Source: www.e-com.ic.gc.ca)

Moving Beyond Business Cards And Phonebooks

Some business owners rely almost exclusively on business cards and phonebook listings to introduce their companies to potential clients, and claim they would gain little or no benefit from a web site.

Indeed, business cards have played key roles in marketing and promoting businesses since the 19th century, and are without doubt one of the least expensive forms of advertising available.

Also, phonebooks have been helping consumers find companies for decades, and continue to have their place.

But with the growing number of people turning to the Internet to retrieve information and make purchases, you need to consider what a web site can do for you, your business and your customers.

    Web Site Benefits

Web sites provide a cost-effective way to promote or announce up-to-date:

  • Services

  • Products

  • Specs

  • Prices

  • Pictures

  • Catalogues

  • Awards

  • Company news

  • Contact information

  • Employee bios

  • Frequently asked questions

  • Special deals

  • Sales

  • Membership opportunities

  • Surveys

  • Instruction videos

The list goes on. What better way to generate awareness, leads and sales locally, regionally or worldwide 24/7, 365 days a year? It's hard to find a better return on investment.

    The Image And Credibility Factor

Would you do business with someone who doesn't have business cards? These days, many individuals feel the same about companies that don't have web sites.

In fact, a ThomasNet study conducted in July 2006 revealed just how how critical web sites are for industrial sellers and buyers. Its findings: "71 per cent of buyers said they first look online when searching for a new supplier." The report concluded a web site can make the difference between "getting an RFQ or getting passed over."

A strategic, innovative and effective web site will:

  • Give people a chance to get to know you at their own leisure

  • Move potential customers along the ladder of engagement

  • Help convert them into full-fledged customers

Investing in a professional web site can reap big results -- your company's success.

Your Roadmap to Success . . . a simple Business Plan

Your Roadmap to Success . . . a simple Business Plan
    Copyright © 2006-2007 Ruby River

Do you need a business plan? If you are running a home based business, you probably think you don't.

For you to get the most from your work at home career it would be wise to develop a business plan. If done correctly, not only will it show you where to go, but the process of building the plan is sure to open up avenues you have not previously considered, and your ride more enjoyable and more direct.

Before the business plan itself, you will have to dig deep and figure a few things out - not only about your business, but about yourself. Here are some areas to focus on:

Who are YOU? Consider what your purpose is in this home based business. What are your core values and how will they play a part in your career? These purposes and values are the foundation of the business you desire to build. Consider the following:

    1. Look at your personal and business values, the ones you consider important, and decide which you desire to bring forward and actualize in your home based business.

    2. Take a hard look at where you currently are. Are you happy or are you just gliding by? What do you desire to change?

    3. Combine the past and the present and decide what your goals are for the future. Go for the gold, shoot for the moon here - think BIG, plan LARGE, and write it all down.

Formalize your goals with numbers. This is all about the bottom line - your current line as well as the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow line. Work out a comprehensive list of numbers. Consider these factors:

    1. Current and planned expenses. Be as exact as you can - this could include everything from your connection expense (for Internet home based businesses) to office supplies to mileage. Incorporate any current expenses as well as planned ones for the future.

    2. Leave room for unplanned expenses. Yep, that's right - plan for the unplanned. It is important to take into consideration areas that may not be in your view at this moment in time.

    3. Decide what you desire to earn. Not what you "think" you can earn - but what you DESIRE to earn. Again, go for it all!

Create an action plan. This will be the base for your business plan! By following the steps below, utilizing the information from above, you will build the primer for a business plan you can actually use for your work at home career.

    1. Define your niche by focusing on your value. A rose by any other name is NOT a rose, no matter what the clichéd statement says! You need to focus on what makes your home based business unique, what value you offer that NO ONE else does.

    2. Decide on a marketing plan. Even if you already have one, utilize your niche market to create a targeted plan for the clients/customers you desire.

    3. Detail your budget. Review those expenses from up above, decide what changes need to be implemented, and form a thorough budget.

    4. Goal planning and upkeep. Create your goals (short term, medium and long term) and then monitor them on a regular basis. Alter and shape your goals as you reach them, and continue creating new aspirations to strive for. Again, think BIG, plan LARGE. Always EXPECT to succeed.

    5. Keep moving forward. Do not let yourself become stagnant. If you feel that happening, go back through all of the steps already listed. Revive your excitement for your home based business or your work at home job by continually feeding upon all successes. Small ones count!

By utilizing the above steps, you will find yourself in a far better position to actualize your dreams into reality. Do not forget that the business plan itself does not promise success for your home based business, however, continuously striving forward will. A business plan is merely the map to your goals - laid out in front of you with easy to read directions. The plan itself is already inside of you, you are just putting it down on paper so you do not lose your way.

Reach for the stars - after all, desire does not have limitations.
